Default Rough measurement request

Wondering if someone could quickly get measurements for me. In this picture I believe the turbo outlet is approximately lined up with the red line and would like to know how much space there is between the red and green and the red and blue lines. Also, how much space is there between the top of the intake manifold above the turbo and the turbo itself?

What do the blue and green lines represent? And wouldn't the total space from the bottom of the intake to the block/motor mount be more accurate for what you're doing (assuming I know what you're doing lol)

green line is just where the webbing stops on the 951 mani, and the blue line is about as far as could be cut without getting in the way of accessing the sparkplugs.

i am looking still at connecting my jaguar awic to a 944/951 manifold. the idea occurred to me the other day with my alternative idea of turboing my NA, i want to see if it would be feasible to install all the 951 turbo gear and just have it feed into the intercooler right above it

red-green=8.25"
red blue=9.75"
turbo to mani clearance=.5" (max.)

Why turbo your NA and try to mount the intercooler above the turbo? Why not just do it like a stock 951? Why try to reinvent the wheel?...

They go from KICK **** to PAIN IN THE **** quite quickly. You need plumbing, pumps, and another radiator with good airflow…it’s a lot of work to get right – you only see them on racecars if the aero benefit is so big that they will put up with the hassle.

BTW – some of us stand outside for many hours at -15c…we call it skiing. 15c for swimming? My neighbors were water skiing the week after the ice cleared….are you guys wussies downunder??
