Default OBX Headers now $300

Just going through Ebay... Looks like nobody is buying them and the guy is trying to clear them out. They just got a bit more tempting.......

No 944 guys that I've seen.
They have had some good results in the 911 world.

I've heard from S2000 guys that these aren't worth their weight in scrap. Garbage.

Alright, I will.

I really don't see how they could be worse than stock.....the only thing I would do is wrap them. Considering how poor shape 90% of what OEM headers are out there now, these would HAVE to be an upgrade.

I have them on my car. I also had them coated by jet-hot and then I wrapped with the heat blanket tony G recommends. My car hasn't been running long enough to give any real report. The only negative is the header gaskets supplied. One of them blew out at the header to crossover connection. They are some type of fiber sandwiching a metal core. The fiber blew out a bit so I'll be replacing with copper gaskets soon.

I had the OBX turbo back on my volvo, actually pretty nice. Metal is thin and welds are so-so, but for that money you can replace it after 3 years and your still saving money hahah

yeh there wrap is and interesting concept they will defiantly get hotter being wrapt but they will also cool slower after shut down .. witch may be when things crack ..so i can imagine the wrap cuasing or delaying crack .. sorry not sure wich ..
