Anyone have real AX/track experience with the Fuzion ZRi... thinking of giving it a try as an inexpensive alternative.

Can you compare it with any name brands?

Just took some off and put on sumitomo htr2. Wasn't very I pressed with the grip of the fuzions.

I have all four on the car, and they are great in turn ins and handle better than the Hankook Ventus RS2s I had before, they show no sign of wear in the last year I've had them, and are also awesome in the rain. It's not a track car, but I do drive it hard...just a little input for ya

Too bad Matt H is no longer here - he works for Firestone and knows a lot about these tires. I ran them on my car for a while, but no track experience. Worked great for street purposes.

I can tell you they are good for drifting in snow. They suck for stopping in snow though. I ran them on the front last winter and had to be easy on brakes since they would lock up easily. They seem to do well in the rain and dry.

I'm on my second set. they're not too bad! I mean, they're no RA/1, but they still have a hell of a lot of grip in the corners. I've had em on the track at Mid-Ohio and High Plains raceway for DEs, and i wasn't sad about my tire choice, that's for sure.

I think there are much better alternatives for cheap tires.

I'm in the market for new tires for my new-to-me 951S with the stock 7-9x16 wheels and TireRack only shows the Fuzions for the stock 245/45 tire size. I know there used to be Yokos, Bridgestones, Hankooks, etc. available in the size, but it looks like manufacturers are moving beyond 16" tires. 245/50 opens up a few more options, none of them very good.

Anybody know of any other options out there now? Maybe an online reseller who still has some year old RS2s, RE750/60s, or AVS100s in our size?

I just put a set on my car 2 weeks ago. I'm sure they are no comparison to an expensive street/slick tire, but for $38 a piece (onlinetires.com them on sale) I couldn't pass them up.

They are also 100 times better than the Dunlop tires I took off. I about threw myself into the passenger seat on an on-ramp the first day I had them. For the 300 miles I've had on them, they feel like good tires.

I've been getting goodyear along with a warranty. Very painful to the pocket book compared to that!!

I ran them on my 86 for a couple of years. I was always happy with them.

No. They are street tires. Could you? I guess, but it seems like using a hammer to tighten a bolt. They may work fine.
