I know..just had to throw it in...

You know I love your car (hell I have almost its twin sitting outside right now...but mine is an 87...), and hold you in VERY high regard...

If you need time to calm down, do it, but PLEASE let me give it a shot before you settle for HALF of what your car is worth...

If you are only asking for $10,500 for this car, mine is going into long term controlled storage while I am overseas.

Hey Patrick, sorry to hear this...part of the lure of these cars for most of us is the ability to work on them. We all bitch and moan about it , but I believe we all enjoy jumping in and tinkering with our toys. You must be bummed!

That being said, someone's going to get a well sorted out car.

Good luck with the sale.

$10,500 is a low price IMO. I just want it out of here, the sooner the better.
What is it that your spine cant do? Lean over the car? Reach up?

have posted in a long time, but
dont sell it , at least not yet
CPR your car is one of the ones that gives me inspiration to slowly upgrade/maintain mine.

fyi i bought my 951 for 10.5 about 1 & half years, and it barely has third of all the mod & updated stuff yours does.

At least enjoy it till the market kicks up

I found a place in Charlottesville and will be visiting it on the weekend to determine if it is an appropriate temporary foster home.

My daughter still has dreams about driving this car at Pacific and Virginia International raceways on a DE day.

If the car I invested $50k in is only worth $10k, there is not point in selling it. I will let my daughter enjoy it on DE days. When I get back from Nigeria, I will buy myself a new BMW or Porsche.

There is too much of "me" in this car to let it go for so little.

Leaning over, reaching up (anything other than straight up) for any period of time. Any twisting while reaching is definitely out. Imagine knives in your belly....similiar sensation, except you only feel nasueated a few times when it is bad, not everytime it happens.

Funny, I just finished a conversation with CPR that was basically the same thing.... he has spent untold $$ and suffered SOOOO much trying to get this thing right, and to stop 99% done would be a crime against nature! (just as it would be for you to sell your race prepped car for similar $$)

IF he is not making progress tomorrow morning, I WILL be driving down and wrapping it up for him...

IF he is going to sell, he damn well deserves to drive it ONCE the way he has been waiting for more than a year to....

Why dont you get one of those "up in the air creepers" used for truck work?

Its like a stretcher or creeper that is suspended in the air by a hoist or something else. You lie on your stomach in it, and reach down. Might help with your back.
