My Project Pictures Thread
So that I dont keep making threads.... Heres one thread from now on.
Nissan Quest alternator.
My new Injector Dynamics 1000 (CC/min, so 100lbs @ 3 bar) injectors. Damn purple adapters....
Spent a while cleaning my engine block and cylinder head.... Im sure my neighbors think im even stranger now, standing in the driveway cleaning an engine block in the rain, using a hose hooked up to my hot water tank for hot water so there were huge clouds of steam
Plastigauged the main bearings, everything came out really nicely specced.
Ethanol content sensor. Outputs a signal based on how much ethanol there is in the fuel.... Can be used in many nifty ways.... Also expensive and shaped very awkwardly.

Did some major cleaning this today. Probably reaffirmed my neighbors assessment of my mental status, but oh well.
What you see is the result of 3-4 hours work, so not bad. Considering when I started out, the underside was black from oil leaks and open exhausts, and the wheel wells were dark grey with age old grime....
ONE WHEEL POWER
Yeah I need new driveshafts....

The new firmware for Link G4s is out, and it has E85 sensor input built in... So no need for an adapter box Also has a load of other new stuff, and PCLink has a new interface that is very kickass.
My testing setup that I did last night. I wanted to try out my AEM 4 channel EGT adapter box. Has four 0-5 volt outputs and will go up to 1832F. Also in shot are my K-Type simulator (white box with slider), a MAP sensor, and the fuel vapor purge valve from VWs and Audis. Im using this to replace the crappy stock system, I will eliminate the damn rabbit ears on the coolant pipe, both vacuum valves, and a bunch of hoses. This will go between the T fitting by the master cylinder, and the intake pipe. Easily controlled by the Link, it will open it up at 80C (or 81 or 83C if I decide) and close it below. Or im also thinking of opening it at 80C and over 25km/h, or over 2000RPM, or something.
And a screenshot of the new interface
