I wouldn't say that the block is the most important part. The blocks are identical, just different number stamped on it.

the entire engine / turbo etc is 86 if I am reading it correctly.. which should also mean the DME has been swapped... or at least modded... but again I could be wrong...

It would drive me insane to have the 86 stuff (and 87 Phone dials) on the car, but it looks pretty solid otherwise...
