Have fuel and spark, no start!? long, sorry.. *SOLVED!*
Ok, Here's the situation. Did my belts and pulled the intake to do the vacuum hoses and clean up, in general. Now she won't start.
Thing's I verified:
1. Have fuel coming out of the injectors. (pulled the rail and cranked it)
2. Have spark. (pulled #1 and cranked it)
When I try to start it just turns over with no hint of firing. While I was in there I replaced the vac hoses one by one, so as not to confuse anything, and replaced the electrical plug for the ISV, and replaced the temp sender...basic stuff. I was careful to note everything I did and replace exactly the same. I just checked TDC again to make sure and it was a tooth off...not horrible, but fixed that quick...still nothing.
I have the LR 340 package, so my wiring has definitely been 'modified'...unfortunately, not by me (PO)...so I'm not intimate with the wiring.
Any ideas on what to look at before I take the intake off again? Thanks for the help everybody.

Oh yeah, ran like a beast, and I did check firing order, too...1342 from bottom right?
That's what's bugging me....I'd understand if I screwed up a wire that it would run like crap or sputter and die or something, but fuel, and spark=nothing? Anything else obvious that I'm missing? I'm too close to the problem...anybody in Reseda area dying to have a wrench day?..;-)

That's what I initially thought and I found the tooth off by one. I found TDC on the flywheel and I was 180 out on the cam, but I just rotated the flywheel once more and I was dead on...that's correct, right? At first I thought it was 180 out, but remembered the whole crank twice for cam once thingy...
also, I put in new plugs...didn't gap them and they appeared to be a bit closer gap, would that matter? Probably not, but I'm grasping at straws, here....
any DME issues possible? I hooked up a trickle charger for a couple hours...anything there?
Thanks for all the brainstorming.

If your getting fuel and spark - I would assume that it isn't an electrical / DME problem...
A little bit closer gap on the plugs shouldn't matter.
I would triple-check cam-timing.

Yeah, I think you're right.... check the basics again. Just really weird.... I didn't move the crank or cam with the belts off...at least I don't think I did... especially not exactly 180*...you know? Wouldn't that be a strange coincidence? It would make more sense that if I had moved something, then the valves would have smashed or something....UGH....this is driving me crazy. I'm sure it's something stupid, too...
Thanks for the help, I'll check back in tomorrow.

Only other thing I can think of is that the DME got messed up when I put the charger on? Is there a chance it's not giving the proper signals to the injectors or something? I don't know...

If you have fuel, spark, and of course air - then you should have fire, lol. I put my car on a charger a lot and have never had any issues - you could always swap with a known-good DME and try it...

Yeah, it must not be happening at the right time, or something....but with all the fuel I've probably dumped in there (hope I haven't washed the cylinders or something)...you'd think it would sputter at least. I'll dig into it tomorrow and re-verify the basics again...

Try replacing your spark plugs. Once they get fouled with fuel they don’t ‘spark’ much anymore.
If you have spark and fuel you will get some sort of ignition regardless of valve or spark timing – you will get a fart, burp or back fire after cranking for a bit. So it sounds like you plugs are fouled.
