Wasted Spark System
Over the past year I have received many inquiries regarding the Vitesse Wasted Spark System. The WS has been on back order, however I might have a way to get it back on the shelf. It will be a new system, a bit different than the original.
If you are interested, drop me a email! Let me know if you have the V-FLEX software and/or a Vitesse PiggyBack.

Its a spark system that does not use the rotor to fire the spark-plugs. In stead it uses the reference sensor for a signal so you dont have to worry about mechanical miss fire from a bad rotor etc. The wasted spark fires TWO times per ignition cycle versus the standard rotors 1 time. The second spark is actually fired after the compression stroke to allow any un burnt fuel to be ignited Hence a Wasted spark as the second spark ignites to late. It a great advantage when you are running very high boost for example with E85 were you normally have allot of fuel flowing trough the engine. The more fuel you can ignite the more HP an TQ more exhaust for the turbo etc.. I recall reading the WS kit from Vitesse also allows you to change timing

As a side benefit; if you are using a adjustable cam sprocket, you can free up the front to gain access to the cam sprocket with ease. It makes life easier on the dyno when adjusting the cam gear.
