There is a customer in the US who shares your idea of "high boost". His low boost is 22psi and his high is 29psi, and that's his daily driver.

Even though the WS eliminates any moving parts and provides a "hotter fire" (if there is such a word). You will notice some difference from stock, however I'm not sure you'll see any "substantial performance" gains at low boost.
On a high boost, high RPM application, it's a different story!
Keep in mind, the WS is not a HP "adder"; it helps the engine make the HP it's capable of.
