That's great news. It means the screws are not somehow fused in there -- just need a good grip! Just curious, are replacements readily available for those screws?

Funny, but I was so concerned about taking them out, I didn't give a second thought as to if they were replaceable...? Frankly, if I can put hex heads in there, clearance wise, that's what I would go with...
Allen heads in this situation were a very poor choice if you ask me...
Regards
Ed
ps yes it's great news... one bolt now... I still have at least 6+ more to do ...I just hope my luck doesn't run out...

I just asked because the looked like unique little button-shaped things. I'm sure you could always grind a standard allen bolt if there was some reason for that shape...

They are kinda unique. Come to think of it, I have to say don't ever remember seeing a combination of a round and allen head in one....

Right, they're different -- almost a pan head screw with a hex drive instead of a phillips head.

Well I finally got the last bolts off the front calipers. Sadly, I still haven't touched the rears yet ... I really don't think, I can get those end plates off the rears ..There is very little room the get in there with anything ... I was able to Jury Rig a set up where I was able to use a impact hammer on the fronts there is no way I would be able to to do that on the rears .. Thank GOD for that tool ...
These screws are encased with lock tight That's what makes it such a bitch to get off....
The guy at the Brembo factory must have have gotten, paid by how much he lathered on the screw....

Drool ... I hope mine come out as good as those ...
Is it me or is that red more of an orange red ?
Regards
Ed
ps are the guide plates made out of some kind of stainless ?
I cleaned mine up ( I didn't even try to polish them ) and they came out really nice
If they were regular steel, I would think they would have rusted by now

Has anyone identified a source for these pad slider screws? The PET shows the screws available with the actual slider, but not separately.
