Nurburger - Please post the rim and tire sizes for the Ruf's shown in the pic. I'm trying to determine what sizes to use on my 89 turbo S. I've had Ruf 17x8 & 17x10 with 245/40 & 275/35's (same stock rolling radius) for the last 15yrs but I want to go to 18's or 19's. I'm looking at the HRE Monoblok P40's. Thanks

Nice pix guys. A well chosen set of wheels really makes our cars stand out in an old school yet new school kind of way too. Looking at the pix make me want to go out to the garage and start polishing some wheels.

all I know is I don't wanna buy tires for that. I bet they're not cheap.

Yep, tires can be an expensive proposition; however, there are some good deals out there- just have to shop around a little bit. I was able to find 305s for my set up and paid $150 for each including shipping.

AZ those are the exact same wheels im trying to fit. 996 hollow spokes or something like that with Mich. cup tires 225's and 295's. Looks like on the rear 15mm is the perfect size. With 2 or more degree neg. camber no touching anywhere. The spacers you used in the rear were they the type with studs or did you swap longer studs in? Also one more thing for the front, i got 1 inch spacers which is def the right size for the front, but the outer hub centric ring is not cut deep enough for the spacer to mount flush up against the car. How did you set up the front spacing?

Just finished with one side in the rear, installed 66mm studs from pelican and custom hub centric 15mm spacers along with 11 et45 18 inch hollow spoke and 295 tire. Its perfect no fender rolling, and plenty of space inside for some neg. camber. Only thing is to tie back parking brake cable from rubbing the wheel. I think im just going to tie to sway bar link.

I'm running CCW 18" 11s on the rear with 295 and 10s' on the front with 285 as pictured in the avatar. No rubbing issues with proper alignment and offset. CCW knows how to provide the correct offsets.

Joe- What offset are you running with the 10" front?

Thanks

Looks like a 63-65 offset for the 10" fronts. I do have coilovers with 2.25" springs which allows for more inboard clearance.
