Yep. Most people run 11's on 86's due to offsets of wheels available and use spacers. 87+ is much harder to do with OEM porsche wheels (10's fit easy). But if you are going custom then you can fine-tune the offsets to work perfectly.

im mounting 11's right now. they are going to fit for sure. i have an 86. but im doing some work to get the right spacer. its somewhere b/w 1/2 and 1 inch, im thinking 15mm is going to be the one.

My car is an 88 turbo s. I dont want to roll the fenders at all. If I go with 10s will I need spacers or will it be a straight bolt on? 11's might be too big!

It's all in the offset.

For an 86 15mm is what you need. You may need to roll the fenders. That may depend on the tires you use. I'm using 295 Michelin Sport Pilots and I had to roll the fenders a lot.

You don't mention the year of your 951 but 10" CCW's Classics had plenty of space both inside and outside on my 86. If they split that extra inch you would be fine. If you have an 87+ ignore this.

Tritone,
The Turbo S cars have the fenders rolled from the factory.
I currently have 18X11's on the rear and 18X9's on the front of my 1989 Turbo.

Tritone- It's all in the offset like others have mentioned. 58-60mm rear offset should work for an 87 but because it doesn't come with rolled rear fenders, you may have to roll the fenders a little or go with 285mm as the max width on the rear tires. If you don't mind going with 10.5 wheels, it's safer and you can still run some pretty wide tires.

Max- Any pictures? I'd love to see how they look on the car!

Max, i did not know that my Turbo S has rolled fenders from the factory, cool! Kuhl, i didnt mention it until a few posts ago, sorry for the confusion. Mbuddha, I may just do the 10.5's....they're plenty wide!

The Kinesis wheels in my avatar are 17x11.5. The car is an '89.

I don't know of anyone running anything wider on stock bodywork.

My Ruf's are 11" ET61 - 285/30 Pirelli's. The car is quite low & the tires rub on the front edge of the rear arch but will be fine with a good alignment & fender roll.

Quick Reply: Will 11's fit my 951?
