Let me know if these set up is even possible. On an 86 951. Starting with stock downpipe and stock 2 piece x over pipe. Im having trouble trying to install a lindsey full 3 inch system with cat delete and WG tie in. Put the 1st piece up to the downpipe and hand tightened nuts. Seems to fit and clear just fine. Next loosened the elbow off the x over so i could move it around and bolted up my tial 38mm with adapter plates, fitment still fine. Then put up the pipe from WG to exhaust, slid it in te exhaust then tried to fit up to the WG and not even close. can someone please help.

I have no experience with the lindsey stuff...but my tial 38 is mounted to my xover on a custom made tube and then another custom made tube from wastegate to the tie in. idk if you have already tried this, but try mounting the tie in first without bolting it in and then swing it around to the wastegate.

my lindsey 3" exhaust w/ Tial wg and 2pc x-over pipe, i had to weld an extension onto the tie in tube to make everything fit correctly. When i called Lindsey their response was some fit right and others dont.

damn right it sucks...i can understand a little variance...you know sometimes you might have to heat things up and bend them or cut a little bit of metal away from another part on the car. But to get a response from a company like that...I think that shows that they dont care all that much.

Do you have any pictures, just to make sure you have everything oriented the way it was intended?

The Lindsey 3" exhaust for my wife's '86 944 didn't fit right either. Things wouldn't mate up if you tried to keep the exhaust close to where stock had been. I sent them pictures. They said they had never seen that before. Not much help. We cut and welded and made it work. I wouldn't do a Lindsey exhaust again. YMMV.

Haven't really had experience with the Lindsey stuff, but my SFR stuff fit with no issues. You may be hitting the same issue Dan did. Is the pipe too short?

Tom i would really like know how to post pics. The tie in pipe is not too short if anything it is too long. Please someone tell me how to post pics. Im sure i have everything oriented the right way, you can see how bad the fit is never had any aftermarket part fit this poorly.

Click on "Post Reply" in the lower left under the last past (not "Post Quick Reply" directly under the post). After hitting Post Reply, scroll down and click on the "Manage Attachments". The follow click "Browse" and find the picture you want to upload and double click on the picture. Once the picture(s) is(are) selected and the file name shows next the Browse box, click "Upload". Once it is attached, close the Manage Attachment window. Then when you hit "Submit Reply" the picture will appear under you post.

IIRC most of the vendor websites list that you might need to make modifications depending on the style of crossover.
