Interesting about the hood scoop positioning? Also note the 935 wheels.

Well all the body panels came from Holbert , they where PNA motorsport outlet for the parts and they did campaign a Monza, but the time frame does not match , but those could be Holbert's car after all .

My first post to Rennlist!
This would have been a CRC Trans Am event in '81 as you can see the white 911 of John Bauer carrying the number 1 since he won the championship in'80.
At the Portland event that year, Doc Bundy was driving car number 14 (and I would assume he was in that photo). My guess is the car to the right is the tail of a Corvette....
A great time for that series and I did catch some particularly interesting shots, fire retardent clothing is a good thing!

I believe they were run by Holbert at that time, at least that is who is listed as the entrant here; http://wsrp.ic.cz/transam1981.html . Here's a shot of Doc Bundy in #14 at Portland and a photo of the #1 911. Times certainly have changed (at least in the paddock area).
BTW, those pictures of the #23 occurred during either a practice or qualifying as he competed in the race. Smart driving on his part as he pulled right up to the turn station and they got things out fast!
