They are Turbo Cup springs. M030/Turbo S springs do not have the decreasing wire diameter, just the decreasing coil diameter, and the color codes on them are white/yellow. Cups are blue.

Personally I think he needs the entire front end set up so that he can have an offset that matches the later cars and get away from the weak knuckles.

lol while the early ones might be weaker, I'm sure they're plenty strong enough for driving on the street with occasional autocross of HPDE. I won't be running anything stickier than advan neovas or re11's so I doubt those tires will generate enough grip to be a problem =] I do agree with the sway bars though and I plan on buying those as well.
Does the same seller also have a sway bar set and strut brace lol.
Maybe I can get a package deal

Burning Brakes
Cats out of the bag now
Honestly, if I didn’t have an ’89 and were upgrading from the ’86 stuff I’d go to the ’87-88 non S spindles and hubs etc. There are more options available for brakes and hubs, newer coilover setups too. Some of these items would be better for a Cup or S restoration.

You want to keep the 87/88 spindles so that you can upgrade to bigger brakes but then you are not worried about using weaker spindles because you don’t think you will stress them much…
If you really don’t think you will stress them much then you don’t need bigger brakes. Bigger brakes are NOT better for every day driving .

I don’t mean to be obnoxious…but the logic of this escapes me.

I've no plans for a big brake upgrade at all and I don't have 87/88 spindles to keep either. I have an '86. I think you were Listin' while under the influence sir lol.
