968 M030 oem coilovers?
So I saw these on ebay.

I wasn't aware that there was an OEM coilover solution at all... Also, would this fit on a 1986 951?

Yes. IIRC, the 968CS used a special barrel spring of about 80lb/in in addition to the standard torsion bar to end up with a similar wheel rate to the 944 Turbo SE. I suspect they added the coilover for homologation purposes.
You can also convert the Bilstein HD shock (B36-2052) to coilover using a 1-7/8" coilover kit. The shock has to be grooved for a circlip and the top hat modified slightly to suit the top shock tube. Fairly easy, Bilstein can do all this for you.
Or you can buy a BRR-0036 which uses 60mm ID sprimgs of 85lb/in rate. 85lb/in at the shock = 36lb/in at the wheel.
Have a look at http://www.forzasuspension.se/sidor/special/mitt.html
Note that these are only suitable for "assist" coilovers and you must reindex the torsion bars.
Hope this helps!

Parting out a M030 968 might even be worse than parting out a turbo S....the M030 968 is even rarer...
