Haven't used them on a 944/951, but used them on my old turbo escort (bosch greentops) and made about 200whp/275wtq

2.5bar and say the max 80%
or 3 bar would be interesting too.

There are crude injector hp calculators, why not just use those. 42 lbs is kinda small so you won't hear much about those here....

still poking around. a friend of mine has a set that he might not need anymore.

42s would work if i were planning on running straight gas but i think theyd be somewhat small to run e85.

Not sure if you got my reply to your pm or not but I ran 42lb as they were a very cost effective part from the DSM guys.

I made 290whp on 18psi on Mustang dyno which was in the 8-10% low reading range compared to Dynojet, but they were just about maxed at that range with my MAF at that time and exhaust, etc.

I would almost be willing to bet you did that running 93 octane pump gas, or E10 at the most...

For E-85 42s would almost definitely be too small, unless running almost no boost, as E-85 requires MORE fuel for simmilar boost levels than straight gas or E10 that most states are using now... and the base 951 injectors are 36lb IIRC...

The real beauty of E-85 is the knock resistance allowing for higher boost levels (cylinder pressures) than can be run using lower octane (say 93 for instance)... and the ability to relatively green while making insane HP numbers....

If I were the OP, and knowing what else he has in the works, I would plan on using larger than 42lb if the plan is to run E-85 which is what it sounds like... his is a project that continues to evolve, but should be a fun ride once he is done with it...

If I were building a simmilar project I would aim for high compression pistons (somthing approaching 9:1, or even 9.5:1, given comparable head chamber volume adjustments), I would also plan on running low boost (which I believe is already the plan) use E-85 for fuel, and tune it to the best driveability... then start making adjustments, not changes but adjustments to suit desire.

But then that is just me... and I'm no Chriss White, Lindsey brother, or CEP race builder... I'm just a nobody...

I'm not sure how much power you plan to make but you might be able to use stock 951 injectors (which is not a bad idea because they are the proper impedance anyway).
