Default Can I run my T61 HiFi on my current tune?

So I currently have stock turbo with supporting mods and a Max951 Tune.

Can I install my T60 HiFi and leave it at stock PSI and run it like that for now? I don't have upgraded injectors or the MAF Kit yet so I don't want to retune now and waste my money.

Current setup-
Stock Turbo (K26/6)
Lindsey Racing Full 3" Exhaust
Lindsey Racing Dual Port Wastegate
Sport Catalytic Converter
3.0 Bar Fuel Pressure Regulator
Zeitronix ZR-1 with Display (A/F Ratio, Boost, Lamda, Exhaust Temp)
Max951 Chip (KLR, DME)
Billet Bypass Valve

New Turbo-
Turbonetics T61 Ball Bearing Turbo (SFR Stage III Turbo, Oil and Water Cooled, 60-HiFi)

Thanks!

run low boost and watch the AFR's like whoaaa. I would recommend a tune that is suited for the turbo asap

The tune for a k26 vs t61 is going to be very different.

Well, I'm currently running a t4 50 trim with LR chips made for the stock turbo, a mbc set at 15 psi, dual port wastegate, 3" exhaust, and adj fpr set at 3 bar.
AFR's are safe but far from optimal. Getting a tune this week though

That turbo flows quite a bit of air even at low boost, I would wait to boost it at all until you have the tune

I guess the other thing that is often forgotten latly is set your FQS to the richest and probably most timing

Depending on what year your MAX951 chips are I don't think you can even use your FQS, but it's this

...fqs stands for Fuel Quality Setting. Run low boost < 1bar, keep an eye on afr, stay off redline too and you should be fine until an optimum tune is available.

How much time do you think you will be without a proper tune? This needs to be considered also

Do it right...wait until you have a way to tune it before slapping on parts. You don't want to be tearing the engine apart again when you break something.
