Default A big heavy box arrived from Beaverton, OR today...

As always - perfect service & great prices from the folks at Sunset....

Also have to thank Pete at RS Barn for the brake lines & RE adapters - he gave me "special holiday pricing" without me even knowing about the promotion... Turned out to be a great deal.

The project parts are piling up again....

OEM rotors? What pads are you going to use? Not to be a wet blanket but make sure you check the rotors pretty often for cracks, especially if you are going to the track. I had some OEM ones crack up very quickly.

Patrick - yes, OEM rotors (993tt front, 968 M030 rear), but no need to worry as my 951 doesn't see the track much... I'll probably go with Mintex street pads per kasturbo's (Kevin) recommendation.

Yes, these brakes are probably overkill - even with my current performance modifications, but I have a love for cool parts.

Are you able to run the stock calipers on the rear w/o adapters?

From all my research & from what everyone told me, the 968 M030 rotors will work with the stock rear calipers....

If anyone knows this NOT to be the case, please speak up...!

I'm sure they're pretty good Lart, but for street driving only.

I see, that's because I know of a guy that has a few OEM 928 pads in a box.

I never had a problem running big reds on my street car.
Also ran a few autoX's. No cracks.
I had factory pads on them.

Nice score Nick, I'm sure they will look nice behind your multitude
of nice wheels.
