Nick, if you get a minute can you measure the front rotor as in Diameter, thickness, and the actual height of the solid hat area. As in how high off the actual rotor it comes?
thanks
Or if these specs are listed somewhere?

height of hat I do not have. Will fit just fine on your 87+ offset hubs/spindles.

Thanks Bruce. I actually need it to supply the specs to PFC Australia to see if they have anything of a similar size in a slotted rotor.
I am guessing they'll have something with a floater available. From memory these can start getting a bit expensive from PFC but I wanted to check again. I like the idea of the products built by the manufacturer under the same roof. Calipers, rotors, pads.

The 968 M030 rear rotors are IDENTICAL to the 951 rear rotors except for the holes. Therefore, yes, one can run the rear (stock) calipers without adapters. Actually, to the best of my knowledge, there are no aftermarket or upgrade rear setups that uses adapters.

Slotted, not drilled is preferable.

Oooo... That's a tough one. It's been a number of years since I was neck deep in brake hardware. Now I just produce the brake fluid (RS683 shameless plug) When you say "race applications" what exactly do you mean? Why will the stock parts not work (well)?

Ah ok, I thought you might sell all brake components.
I've had problems with the OEM drilled rotors cracking up very quickly. We use SRF fluid, s/s lines, Big Red Calipers, and either PFC 01 & 97 or Pagid Black pads.
Race applications are short Sprints. So hard driving for short durations. Possibly an issue with heating and cooling?

My suggestion would be to dump the x-drilled rotors and use slotted. The x-drilled rotors are not fond of large swings of thermal loading, i.e. big and fast temp changes. The solotted rotors will be less $$ anyway.

Thanks Nick on the measurement too. Please don't read too much into my OT and sorry for all of this. Your setup
will be fantastic and look great. The drilled ones certainly worked a lot better than the solids due to them allowing the build up
of gasses to escape.
EDIT: Actually come to think of it, if the thickness of the rotors are 32mm then the hat height looks to be about 80-90mm high just looking at your pics??

They don't exist is my summation so do people get solid ones and send them out to the engraver of sorts?

OK, now I understand where you're coming from.... (this is last post of the evening for me) first I wouldn't call the standard rotors as solid as they're not, they're vented. Second, yes, purchase the stock rotors and have a a machine shop slot them for you. You could also go the custom route and get 2 piece rear rotors but that sends up the cost and possible problems considerably.

Thankyou.
