Yes, the rotor thickness IS 32mm, but the hats are around 35mm.

Thanks Nick on the measurement too. Please don't read too much into my OT and sorry for all of this. Your setup
will be fantastic and look great. The drilled ones certainly worked a lot better than the solids due to them allowing the build up
of gasses to escape.
EDIT: Actually come to think of it, if the thickness of the rotors are 32mm then the hat height looks to be about 80-90mm high just looking at your pics??

take a look at the differences.. the "shorter" hat is on a rotor that is much larger.. (fronts)

Yep, when I had a look at it again I realised the same thing. Looking at the rears.
Now just to throw another spanner into the mix, I have just been talking to my mechanic who is strongly of the opinion that the 993tt rotors won't fit my car, but in fact it is the ones from the 964/965 3.6 turbo.
He gave me the part numbers of:
965-351-045-00
965-351-046-00
These are the same dimensions as the 928 GTS vented solids....I believe.
There must be some sort of spec sheet available for all our various rotor dimensions, no?

Yes, the 965 rotors are the same size as the 928GTS rotors. The difference being the 965 rotors are x-drilled. I did a post this morning on calipers and rotors here (https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...-number-3.html)
In terms of what rotors will fit a 951/968 with big reds, the options are:
928 GTS rotors
965 rotors (x-driled)
993tt rotors with a custom hat
All three of these rotors are 322 x 32 mm. The 928 GTS and 965 rotors are interchangable in terms of fitment.

Yes, just to re iterate. The 993tt rotors WON'T fit a late offset Mo30 car. Nick the part numbers you gave me were from the 993tt. What model car is yours?

Understand that the 965 rotors did NOT come slotted from the factory. So the question could be, "Who slots 965 rotors?" Try calling Bill @ Frozen Rotors www.frozenrotors.com

Mine is a non M030 88 turbo. I do have double adjustable Koni's (8742-1007 ), but not the spindles etc.
I doule checked fitment with Kasturbo as he has the exact set up on his 968turbo.

Rich, that's the $64,000 dollar question. There are no OEM versions of this, nor does it seem anyone make them in one piece. I am doing some more research to find out where these can be obtained. Probably the easiest is do use the GTS rotors and have someone route some grooves. Surely this can't be difficult. My only question is, is this too easy or wrong? Am I missing something? A slot is a slot, no?
I'll report back.

I've been dealing over the phone with a local shop called Classic Plating. They really seem to know their sh*t. I'll be dropping the parts off tomorrow & it should take a week. They will be blasting, masking the braking surfaces with a special "coating", doing the plating and removing the coating for less than $50 per rotor....

Thanks Bruce. I actually need it to supply the specs to PFC Australia to see if they have anything of a similar size in a slotted rotor.
I am guessing they'll have something with a floater available. From memory these can start getting a bit expensive from PFC but I wanted to check again. I like the idea of the products built by the manufacturer under the same roof. Calipers, rotors, pads.

A good start??
