I am currently running a test pipe and stock muffler, how loud would adding a borla xr-1 muffler make the car? It's basically straight through (so is the stock muffler....) I don't want any droning or a loud idle, just a nice sound

I've searched and found plenty of sound clips with catbacks or full 3"exhaust systems.

Myself, I think it isn't too bad, but it does get a little old driving daily. I would use a bullet muffler for a resonator in place of the Cat. I love the sound though

IMO it isn't too bad. Some seem to think the XR-1 is annoying on long trips or daily driving but I have yet to have that problem.
