the 944 turbo has a weird resistance. something like 5.5 ohms. injectors are normally sold as either low impedance (2.4-2.8 ohm usually) or high impedance (like 14ohm). you add resistors to bring the total resistance up for that circuit, otherwise there will be too much current and you can burn out the dme.
some people have gotten away with 55lbers without resistors but its probably safer to run with them and it wont be hard.

Installing injector resistors is very easy. I don't have any pictures of my install, but I made a mounting plate and soldered the connections. I've read bad things about using spade connectors on them...

Hmmm higher the duty cycle the more they heat up. I have 55 in my Turbos S no problem.
But if I had them open long enough to heat up... I'd need to duct tape my lic and registration to the hood.
