Default Been off the radar....got on today

So Andy Kihm finished my engine and did a magnificent job. I have been chasing an oil leak and doing a little tuning.

In 30 degree temp and some dye in the oil, did a one way pass with a "friends" KR Custom handheld K band radar gun at 161mph and still pulling like there is no tomorrow.

Vitesse and Andy money well spent.

Pics coming soon. We have been working on this for 4 years. I have to many vices, so the project only moved forward when I could pay cash and not have it effect our household.

No details, but highlights. Vittesse stuff. Andy's assembly, wasted spark, ceramic ball bearing turbo, open exhaust, no balance shafts, Turbo Smart boost controller and other stuff.

+1 And some of the stories at Fest involved radar and speeds far in excess of 161 mph.

Winslow, I saw your car over at Andy's and it is a beauty. I was expecting to see a cup holder the size of a bourbon bottle, though.

Winslow, welcome back. Time flies, hard to believe it has been 4 years since you got your kit.

Thanks for the kind words. The dye works great, the leak can be stopped.

It still looks the same, except under the hood, pics tomorrow.
