Default Caster blocks. M030 vs 968?

Are the 968 caster blocks better than the 944 turbo M030 units?

The 968 unit is the update for stock control arms.

well at a glance Lindsey beat both those prices.
it looks like both of them allow a little more Castor.
I think the 968 ones and spend the difference on a strut brace .

The 944/951 style castor blocks are no longer available from Porsche. The 968 blocks superseded them.

Understood but are the 968 blocks an upgrade compared to the 951S M030 blocks? I don't want to remove my existing blocks, which are still in good condition, unless the 968 version is superior.

Not sure how thorough they were, but the 951S/M030 cars had stiffer rubber compound throughout the suspension.

Exactly, which is why I asked the question. Perhaps it is a bad move to toss my good condition 951S M030 blocks to install the 968 version

951S/M030 blocks are the same style/design as the stock 944/951 blocks, but are a harder durometer rubber. The 968 blocks are a different design (much less rubber), and generally considered a good upgrade over the stock blocks. I would also say they are an upgrade to the 951S/M030 blocks too, but I would not replace good condition blocks. For a street car, I would wait until the rubber starts to crack and fail, because it will eventually.

If this is for a track application, then I would consider going with the 968 blocks (or better) at some point.
