Default Red 951 w/ fuchs & 22K original miles!

No affiliation just looks like a super clean concourse destined car!

Wonder what the option codes are, maybe it has LSD, sport shocks, and sport seats! Looks like it has a sunroof and blk interior. Probably original owner or he knows them.

That's been on CL here locally for quite a while actually. It is a very nice example but I would think the price scares most people away.

Well if you think about it alot of people spend 10K on a semi nice turbo with aftermarket stuff thats had 6 owners over a span of 23 years. Then they spend 3 -4 years fixing it up how they want it and getting everything just right. Then its either sold, wrecked, or never driven but either way you end up spending at least 15K and several years of spare time and in the end you still have a higher mileage 951 thats pretty much impossible to sell for more than you purchased it for.

However if you had $19K you could purchase this time capsule and take it to PCA events, concourse, shows etc... You get instant pride of ownership and looks wherever you go with it. Believe it or not there are a few money guys still out there that drop coin like this for these cars. They just are rarely here with us the old hobbyiests as it were!

Bye the way Steve how is your crystal green 951 project coming along? Have you got the rebuilt engine in yet?

I haven't touched it since I sold my other one. I've been concentrating on fixing the house (found termites) and spending more time with my family. If I could ever get my garage cleaned up I might actually get motivated some. I'm still thinking of just calling it quits and selling the whole project with all the new parts and Garrett dbb turbo. It's just so hard to find the time and help. Maybe when Serge gets back from working in China in January he'll give me a hand unless he's too busy driving the GT3 he bought

I know what you mean, I have a new house and 6 month old baby now. I only have 1 Porsche and find it hard to get time to go into the garage finish the fiberglass front end, lexan rear hatch, and GTS style headlight buckets that I have been working on for 5 months now.
