Hello to all RL friends
I am sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news but I have just received a personal message from Patrick Garvan (333pg333) )who as we all know is a true friend to all of us - the RL community.
Today Patrick has just left to go to his father’s funeral after peacefully passing away last Saturday night![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
His father played a huge part in Patrick’s life and lived to the ripe age of 89.
Patrick quoted that his farther “loved having a drink and a laugh with his friend's and family and never took things very seriously”.
Patrick has had a run of rotten luck recently and not more so than having an incident in his beloved Porsche which we all know and remember as GO951.
Please spare a thought for Patrick and his family today.
I know that I have not been contributing to RL for the last 3 months – this has been because I have been travelling a lot with work.
During my travels I took the time out to meet with Patrick in person over in Sydney, Australia.
He picked me up from the apartment I was renting and we took a drive in his 952 to drop his car off at his local independent Porsche mechanics workshop owned and operated by Bruce Buchanan who really was an exceptional stand-up guy who shares a huge wealth of experience and knowledge for our Transaxle cars.
Best wishes to you Patrick and we are all thinking about you,
Mark and Beni
