Except they make no TQ at any reasonable rpm range that you'd use on a street driven car.

On a dedicated track car it's fine though.

But this is where the V8 shines.... power ever where... and lots of it.

Not to mention the horrible gas mileage, the noise, the reliability issues... There's a good reason all the rotary mazda owners have put LS*'s into their cars!

I also think it would make for a tail-heavy 944...no fun.

Is the super touring class going to be a big change in the level of prep/$$$ involved from the GTS class? Is that the only class that allows full engine swaps? Just curious, thanks!

How did the manual brakes hold up? Is there a write up? I want to boost mine, have read so many horror stories.

My brakes were ok but, I do want more brake pedal pressure. I will be upgrading to a new system soon ill let you know how it goes. I was able to run with the manual system its not ideal I really wanted my boost assist back.

Nice work! Man, you were up against some tough cars.
How's everything? Steering, brakes?
Mine was a mess the first year i raced it...p/s would come and go, brakes kinda sucked... It'll take you some time to get it sorted and get used to driving it.

What cam did you put in it?

Great control for a strong finish. Just doesn't sound right for a 951, though.

Just wait until you get the car dialed in. It will be so much faster...
