oh cool you are well equipped then so shall we assume the car is all sorted and putting down 480whp ?as a GT35R should
but as i keep saying the gt35R is a substantial thing .
I will go on with the list .... good seats realy good tune set up for 3 different fuels water injection, great tires, better gear ratio's, quick stearing rack , good data logging and wide band set up . quick release sub woofer amp set up. lexan hatch roof and side glass . revised geometry moving the pick ups up or using ball joint spacers A back up gearbox and drive shafts ...
And back to the turbo i would think a gt37would perhaps be a happening thing if you want to go 30+psi the bigger turbine will create more shaft torque wich is likley to make the whole turbo work better at bigger pressure ratios

If you take the car out in fair weather only and it gets the odd street race i can understand being HP mad . I think a 100 shot of nitrous would tent your trousers in the way your after and if you don't break somthing you later use the nitrous to get that GT37 spinning

I was just looking for a different feel there GT37VGT. Right now im doing a custom crossover pipe due to a mishap. Add stage 2 headers ( or my own version of them ..lol). Loads more gauges looking to see of they got a gauge pod for the passenger side to put some over there but can see from driver side.I do go over 30 psi but that's just for dyno fun the most I have even attempted off race gas on street is 23-25 TOTALLY unnecessary for the highways.

good seats check
tires bald..lol
Tune file ??? are they ever perfect?
data logging check
one wideband... soon to multiple
lexan hatch ..nope
amp & woofers easyout check
gearbox strengthen ...noted in other threads
nitrous ...hell no!

Costas ......look into this along with a twin entry turbine housing.

It helps significantly. I have my HX 35 spooling 15psi at 2900 in fourth using a home made unit in comparison to 3700. I see 29 psi at ~ 34-3500. I have posted a data log somewhere, .. in some thread. If you would like to see it, just say the word

You could then use as Large of a turbo as you desire (within reason of course) and still be streetable.

well as your doing a custom crossover this is the perfect time ..Hmm nice Sid you've got me wondering again about these junky VGT's i have lying around I had written the GT37vgt off as too big but perhaps on my 3.0 it may be an option but the ex truck VGT is so big on the out side the compressor cover is 9.5" i would think the sporty GT37R will be a bit better size wise .

Seems like a lot of work for no real improvement?
If you want to change something, you have to have a reason. More power or better driveability?
If I were you I would change to a T3 0,82 a/r turbine housing. I'm running a GT3582R T3 0,82 on my 2.5l and it's laggy, but it works. No fun below 4000 rpm though..
Unless your're running high rpms and high boost I should only see gains with a smaller turbine housing. The 1.06 is way too big for a 2.5l running sub 7000 rpm unless 30+ psi.

Special price for you my friend!!!

That's a ridiculously large turbo. If you look at Garrett GT45xx and larger they're about the same price.

Well Duke I am looking for more initial punch. So I thought bigger would help and to combat the bigger turbo a smaller a/r will do. Duke do you think on some level I will just end up were I am now.
