hehe...not bad Matt!

The other way another calendar circumvented the Porsche Dictatorship was to have the car in the background (NO BADGES SHOWING...not hard to do considering we only have one) while taking a picture of a part laying in front or beside it.

The part was obviously not the focal point and in a few pics it was not even discernable, but it made no difference apparently.

My dad does the same thing with his Taxidermy. You can't sell Waterfowl (ducks). So while we can't sell you a Green Wing Teal, we can sell you the driftwood or scenery it stands on!

+1 on the "free" version that requires "shipping and handling" in order to get it to someone.

Additionally, BTW, I would not use the words "Porsche" "944" their crest logo, or any other refrences to Porsche or their registered, trademarked, or copyrighted material. Create a "fancifull" name (like "hot cars" -- stupid, but and example) that YOU can own and you can put any photos you want, as long as they are the propertuy of the person submitting them and you have them sign a submission form waiving all rights, etc. woudln't "feature" any close-ups of the crest -- like in a ECU of the nose valance for example -- that might cause Porsche legal to come down on you... if it was incedental in the photo they could not make claims...

Ok! So we can't create a Porsche 951 calendar and Porsche has very little interest in doing it so..... How many of you guys would like one with pics of our own cars? If so what do you think would make great pics?

I think this is a great idea, and I support paying ~$25 s&h for a free 951 (er, "hot car") calendar.

I'd also be keen on sending a couple/few pictures your way, but it'll have to wait til late November (when I get back to AZ where the car is waiting for me...).

I can think of at least a dozen people here on the 'List who have gorgeous cars that I certainly wouldn't mind seeing in a calendar.
