MALE 6-pin Bosch connector to replace AFM??
Now that I've gotten far enough along in my engine rebuild, need to look at integrating my new Vitesse MAF into the stock harness. After all of the pain I went through to source a new DME harness, I'm not going to cut it up any time soon. As such, I need to source a MALE Bosch connector to to integrate into my harness from the Vitesse MAF. I have found a ton of websites that sell the female end, but no luck on the male end. Help!!

Marko at MKS MIGHT be able to come up with what you need..

You need part number 1928402464 off Bosch drawing A928000020 (if you use search on their site search for P/N 1928402452 ... 464 returns as not found...)
http://www.bosch-connectors.com/bogs...Token=55453655
I believe the part number you need is NLA, drawing was last updated in 2004, and a search returns no results for the P/N..may be a special order part from Bosch (subject to minimum order threshold of usually 3000 pieces...)
OR
You could do what another MAF vendor has done, and scavenge the connector off your existing AFM...

I thought I heard John has an adapter available these days, but don't quote me on that. If not, buy and old/dead AFM and cut the connector out. That's what I did -- put it in a little project box with VR harness going in one side and factory harness plugging into the other side with the connector.

Gotta go check the AFM and make sure the connector isn't burnt to a crisp, but it looks like that's my option at this point. John told me when I ordered my parts from him that he makes an adapter, but at $125 I just can't afford that right now. Still have $1153.47 worth of parts and about $750.00 worth of powdercoating and machining to pay for...

It's not about adding up receipts, but a quick guess is that I'm in about $8500 for this engine rebuild thus far. Right now it's about budgeting to get what I need *now* to get to the next step. All of the powdercoated parts are wrapped with bubble wrap and saran wrap until they are needed, to keep any dust/dirt/dog hair out of them. I HAVE to get this car back on the road before about January because we're buying a house. Don't want to move 15 boxes of miscellaneous parts/brackets/bolts and then start putting things together again.

Maybe we need to have a wrenching party at your house... I'll bring all my assorted toys along! (Power Bleeder, Torque Wrenches, cheese head adapters.. just to name a few...)
