High temperature paint for all of the brackets/mounts/other parts. So far, a layer of primer followed by 3 layers of paint and 2 coats of clear have produced some VERY nice looking parts. I wanted to powdercoat the major engine components to help protect them a bit better than just paint. It's been a real process to bring my "Mach 5" back from the dead. Here's a pic taken an hour or so after the engine fire:

That is what I do not like about the Lindsey rail, only two mounts. That sucks that you replaced the rail to prevent the number one cause of 944 engine fires and you still have a fire.

My thoughts exactly. I've heard there are aftermarket additional mounts for the LR rails that cure this problem. I had my shop in San Antonio install the rail EXACTLY as the crappy instructions from LR said, and Mike Lindsey's response to me when I told him that was, "Did they use Loctite Red?" I didn't want to get into an argument, and I wasn't going to sue, so I left it. But did the instructions SAY to use Loctite Red? Nope. Nowhere. So needless to say, I don't use/condone LR products, and they lost a customer with their lack of support and customer service.

Lindsey makes some nice parts, this just isn't one of them IMO.

Typically I will change the fuel rail mounting to studs (loctited) with lock nuts - for the stock rails or Lindsey rails or whatever other rails. I think that the 6mm bolt into aluminum manifold was not a good idea - especially on a part that will be removed and reinstalled repeatedly.
I have seen a lot of very worn threads on fuel rail mounts…..
