Another with a newer 911TT. Notice this driver was not showing off, just hauling ***.

I think by far the best 911 video that I ever seen is the next video, It's the ultimate 911, I strongly believe that's what Dr. Porsche had in mind the "people's family sports car". You will see that it does look better than the 996, and it out performs the 997. I can hear Dr. Porsche crying from his grave "that's it finally somebody got it right"

This was on of only 29 or so RUF "yellowbirds" produced. Now if they would have made the rest of the beetles like this then yes...my opinion would change

Yes but this is the Bumble Bee version....everyone knows that Bumble Bees are faster than Beetles. Or on second thought it has the same paint scheme as Spainish Taxis, you those crazy Spainards.

I'm not going to bother reading this tread.

To the OP.

we have a group of P car owners who like to go to drives up the mountains in Victoria. The last one i organised had about 36 P-cars (largest turn out so far) We split into 3 groups.
Quick, moderate & Sunday drivers

I was amongst the quick groups and i had a 901 base 911 in front of me. Man that car can handle. with stock wheels and road tyres it gave me a little challenge keeping up. I had no problem keeping up but i was shocked.

Of course the OP was trolling...but I think he misread the crowd. Most 951 guys have a lot of love for the 911 - they like both - one for being a 911 & one for being one of the best P-cars (compared to its contemporaries) which isn't.

"Fat Boy" jokes aside - a lot of 951 guys have a well hidden respect for the 928 - but it's not something they like to own up to - a bit like like having a crush on a 14-stone girl who you know is probably very hot...
