kiss cooler under header panel?

Default kiss cooler under header panel?

hi,

i know there are a few guys who made it, and i already saw a picture in a thread but i cant find it,

i would like to see where exactly you mount it, and where do you pass the lines?

i put mine behind the drivers fog light and ran lines along bottom of radiator. Not seen it behind the header but would be interested to see

Mine's in the same place as Dan's, which is where the kit is designed to be installed. Hoses are dimensioned for this location. There's not much room in teh header area, and behind the IC is definitely not a good idea. The air that gets through there can be much hotter than ambient temps. You want loads of ambient temp air for best results.

im going front mount ic, so i got room under the header panel...

Don't you lose the brake duct though?

No. I've got extra large ducts going to 3" hose, and the Mocal in the KISS kit fits nicely above the brake duct.

The KISS Mocal has its fittings on the bottom, one each side. I think you'd need side entry fittings like the ones in your pic to install that way.

I know SFR makes a pretty nice oil cooler built to mount where the intercooler was.
