from what I can gather a car with my set-up makes ~230 RWHP
low mileage 55k, in a good state of tune, 93 octane
Lindsay chips, shims, BE, 3 bar regulator, max boost ~0.8 bar or so...
oh yea, at least 30 HP from my Bosch + Cu plugs
is the Dansk muffler worth a few HP?
is 230 wheel ~ 270 crank a realistic estimate for this set-up?
what would be the max boost to safely run? 1 bar?

seriously, there's a lot of knowledge/experience around here, is my 230/270 realistic?
I know the car pulls well, gets to 120 from 70 real fast...and I have some feel for speed from my experience with some relatively not slow cars...an e46 M3 I've had for 135k miles, and an RS4 I've put 15k on so far...I also had a 95 e36 M3 with some mods (+30 HP) that was not slow...200k miles
my first real car was a 80 931 I bought in 81 with 7k miles on it...the Coos Bay dealer ordered it as his personal car: 5 lug wheels, crank windows, no AC (good thing I lived in AK), mocha black with brown leather/tweed interior...16" bronzed/anodized 'speedliners'
I even modded it, waaaaay back then...boost control, smoked sides/tails, FOHA lip, euro front bumper, rear under bumper valence...
killer becker/blaupunkt stereo, subs in the rear cubbies
winter wheels: four 15" phone dials with 175/70 studded Pirelli winter tires...bought the wheels (take offs) from Robert L Wood (still in business I think)
