I have been out of the ebay market for almost a year, now that I am coming back, ebay is not the same, too many unscrupulous sellers.

I found this listing on Ebay what a ridiculous price for used tail lights $ 495.00 for the set WTH? You could buy them new from 944online for $ 175.00 each.

That is funny... but the housings from 944 online are just housings, they don't include the lighting backer or wiring...

But I am having problems finding the $400+ full housings on anyones site... nice price for the other set BTW...

The first guy always thinks his stuff is GOLD, but then again he is trying to make a living. He is just too expensive for me, but then I'm retired now. He does sell a lot of parts and must work hard to pull the cars apart to sell. He doesn't twist anyones arm to buy his parts.

This all says alot to me in that the first guy doesn't feel the need to try to badmouth his competitors.

He must not have to in order to sell his parts. That's the only funny thing that I see about this.

And I don't understand the point of this because the first guy has two other sets of tail lights right now on eBay, both priced alot cheaper than the second guy's.

Well, if you change the wording in the listing you might get a little more money.
Something like this;

"Porsche 944 tail lights, like new only used for 20 years,at a distance of 15ft there is NO visible scratches, minor discoloration noticeable only when car not in motion. Water fills the lenses only when raining."

I undertand how it is, it's human nature to gun for the guy top.

I see that guy #1 almost has as much feedback as guy #2 in a quarter of the time on eBay so his prices must not be all that high.

Seems to me that guy #2 must be worried now that in his time of absence from the eBay market, a new seller moved in and took over the 951 game.

Lart. You might want to read your ad again. You show them for $125 + $17 shipping and then say buy them both for $99 lower in the ad. The same seller of the other lights also is selling that quick spool turbo with the 'clipped' wheel referred to below.
