Hey guys,
It has been quiet some time since i last posted, due to studies and work in Germany. My car has been sitting in Dubai for a year now, never started.

New rules in Dubai state that older cars require a CAT, so i am planing to replace the exhaust system (which i though i had stock, but turned out to be some rusty POS).

So the first thing i will do is replace the exhaust system. I purchased a used updated style x-over pipe (i suspect my old one leaked) and new testpipe with CAT back ( and a CAT).

I remember a LR vs SFR exhaust discussion, where someone (if i recall correctly TOM?) posted some great pics showing the difference between the systems. Thing is, i can't find that post and yes i searched.

Can someone be kind enough, to post those pics again, or better yet a link would be super.

I got some big plans for my car, including a fresh new paint job, clutch replacement, interior and other stuff. I got a warehouse, and plan to invest in some air tools, tank and so on....

You will be hearing more from me, from now on....

I'm still working on mine - but you've got me worried as what ever happens in UAE will filter down here soon !
Heard a rumour that UAE will also ban all cars over 15 yrs and trucks over 10 yrs ?

Mike, they removed or postponed that law. Now it is obligatory that old cars must be fitted with a CAT. I will dig for the artikle on the online paper and send you a PM with the link.....How is it down there BTW????
