Getting ready to paint the 951--would like to remove the rain channel/roof trim pieces that run from the front fender along the roof line to top corners of the hatch--shop manual indicates that these snap on somehow as I recall--how do they pop off? What tool, and where along the trim do you start prying, if that's what it takes?

heres how I do it...
the rubber between the strip and the roof slides into a channel. I first peel the rubber out from there- it just pops out- start at the top and work your way down.
Then you can see the clips for the roof trim. Take a small screwdriver and push straight down on the center of the clips- then the roof trim will pop off. Start at the top to bottom.
Once you are done painting, you can slide the rubber strip-carefully- back into the channel if you are patient and it'll look like factory.
