Sorry you had to go through all that! It would be a shame for that motor to go to waste.

Can I ask what kind of hose clamps those are?

Love the long-sleeve white dress shirt while working on the car. I thought I was the only one...

Oh gosh, I have linked them from a page that doesn't allow it...worked OK on my home computer, but now ( not at home ) I can't see them. I'll fix this on Sunday.
Yes, HX40 super with #18 turbine. A friend of mine has one with #12 turbine, spools really early, 400 FWHP @1.2bar, but that's it. Nothing more...just backpressure.

Thanks for kind words for everyone, it would be nice to meet you guys!

Tom, those clamps are of Danish origin, industrial grade. Very tough. White shirts and dark blue trousers are a compliment from my employer....

My neighbour took the pictures, his camera gear is worth almost my ride.

Mostly I'm annoyed about all the work I did for nothing, and those extra parts. For that I'd like to get some compensation. Otherwise I'm fairly good, with parting also my engine I'm almost equal with the original deal. Almost.
My wife warned about this friend, I wish I'd listened her. Next time I will, if there's ever to be next time.

Now I just help another friend ( <--without quotes ) with his 951, for love to this sport... =) Actually I really miss 951's.

Sorry to hear about this mess Pete. As if you haven't had enough troubles with the crash itself
The 996 looks good!

the obligatory one of the BIG REDS!!
Pete have some kind of brake fetish; i suppose he owned those brakes earlier than 996.
He said to me this car is for driving... For some reason so far he has changed brakes, suspension etc I wonder what are the next parts to be installed.

Pete, was the 405 hp figure at the wheels?
Judging by the curves it looks like there was a pretty big boost spike?
