Default 951 Exhaust Manifold Thermal Photos

Got an IR camera at work (internship) and decided to hunt down an exhaust leak I've got on my car. Decided to take some pics of random things since it's not everyday you have access to a $15k camera. If anyone has anything they want pics of let me know!

This is COOL. Shots of the turbo exhaust housing and more exhaust shots would be usefull. I'd also like to see how much the exhaust heat effects surrounding components, like the starter, oil pan etc.

How about pictures of the intake manifold after a hard run. To see if there are any hotter spots that need insulation. Ex. the bottom of the manifold above the turbo compaired to the top of the manifold. And how about the intercooler pipes. So there is a comparison between before and after the intercooler.

I'd actually like to see pictures of the intake and the intercooler (does the camera have that level of sensitivity?)

Not enough room to get a good shot of the turbo.

I'll work on this...I'll probably have to go for a drive around the block to heat it up some...I just started it up and let it idle for a few minutes for these pics. Camera should be able to detect a pre/post difference. It does have some issues with reading different types of material (depending on their gloss) but should be able to see a difference in pre/post charge pipes along with the intake. I'll get some more pics on thursday and friday.

You should get a thermal picture of a girl's panties after a ride in a 951.
