Default Thought my car felt slow lately...

Installed my boost gauge and it's only hitting 6-8psi and it's not hitting that until 4k rpm. Time to make an intake pressure tester.

Yeah these cars suck when there is any bigger vac/exhaust leak. Right now I'm not getting full boost till like 3700 rpm when I used to have 15 psi right before 3K. Luckily I'll be taking care of that once another expensive package from paragon arrives (crossing my fingers for thursday)

Yeah, I'm not really building boost till like 3200 and not hitting full boost until 3800-3900. WEAK. I replaced some vac lines a few months ago, but I think I need a BPV. Its on my list of things to get.

Alex, I've got a smoke machine if you can't find the leak. Run down one weekend if you want I'llmore than happy to help ya out. Check the IC to TB coupler I've a few of those crack on the bottom and they only open up on boost.

It would have to be a massive intake leak in order for the turbo not to make any more boost than that; and if so, then you'd also be running pig rich.

Didn't you mention an exhaust leak on your other post? That would cause low boost if before the turbo!

I'm going to investigate the exhaust more, but I believe my only leak is post turbo. Bad wastegate possibly? I can brake boost the car up to 10psi....car just has a LBE at stock boost.

Ben I'll be in Indy sometime soon (in 2 weeks or so) so if I don't figure anything out by then I'll have to stop by and see if we can figure anything out.

Forgot to mention that my car is idleing at ~ 12 in Hg so I'm pretty sure it's a leak in the intake.

my car is doing the same thing, little to no boost, except in 3rd gear 4k to redline, it will get up to 15 lbs. I removed the cycling valve and installed a manual boost controler and set it for max 15 lbs WOT in 3rd. Before that with a boost enhancer and cycling valve it was making over 20 lbs then the cycling valve broke and its never been the same.
Any ideas?
