I suppose I could, but it would take a bunch more pictures, and I would hate to be telling everyone to tear apart their counters to add a light and a button...

OR I could offer to mod them for them for a nominal fee... I imagine most of my time was spent figuring out how to make the reset work..

OR I could just get a bunch of them, mod them with wiring needed to reach the radio wiring for power and the KLR all wrapped into one nice little harness...

OR just take the frigging pictures and make a how too... hmmm... hmmm...

How to will come with the second one modded (I bought two), and then I will swap one of the modded ones into my car and mod my third one...

I put one in my car, drove at night and decided I needed a backlight, and while I was in there I decided to go ahead and add a reset...

Next will be a warning light to pop on when the counter counts a knock, and only be lit for half a second or so... getting there... How too will come... maybe tomorrow...

ALL the "OR's" sound very nice, partial to the second but the last paragraph also sounds interesting......

Let us know which "OR" you choose.....I'm first in line

Looks great! I'd definitely be interested in a DYI...or even just a schematic.

Very cool - I've been wanting this mod for my counter. How much if I have a curtis unit shipped to you today and then you mod it and ship it to me?

I'll pay for one. That's sweet! Good job!

When can I send the money?

Good stuff. I'm definitely interested in one, preferably one of the no-cost make it myself options, but paying for it might be acceptable. I take it the button you're pressing in the video is just a direct replacement for the input of the knock sensor?

Yup, used a 9V battery to power it on the bench (AKA kitchen counter) and the button just triggers the input...

MIGHT be able to get a DIY tonight, if not I will work to have one together by the weekend...

Hey John - did you ever have any luck putting together a DIY on this? Still willing to pay to have you do the same mod for me.
