AFRs and Timing advance/retard

Update sort of have not disabled the N/B yet but drove it today. Did not data log, I thought I could read the A/F at WOT! Uhh wrong, I have to watch where I' am going!
I had it in 4th and 5 th at the legal limit 45 and 55, straight road for 25 miles, so I am at around 2100, 2300 rpm. If it's running rich at WOT which it is, it's dumping fuel when I open it in that range, it's does not bucket or surge but it is very laggy, it hits 3000 and it takes off.
My question is if I have a boost leak, how come I can set the boost and it holds? I have not checked for a boost leak yet but that is my question. Anyone?

Runs MUCH smoother with NB connected, but will run with it disconnected... IF it goes too rich without the NB (10:1 or so...) wouldn't the engine die premature death when the NB fails? this is how I tuned my idle and PT fuel maps...took me 2 runs..now the WOT map and timing maps have been what I have been playing with since...

Well I disconnected the NB or so I thought the ARC ONE slowed down at idle the, WB showed steady at 14.7 did not dither. Just drove around the block, down the highway.
Nothing seemed diffrent, is the Zetronix WB tied into the NB? I did not install it.

If you tapped it into the NB input it does, but this isn't automatic... your behavior should be different without the NB connected.... But you're still WAY rich WOT, but normal all other throttle positions?
#87
If the Zietronix is tapped into the NB O2 circuit, you can change the switching point... but that won't fix your WOT richness... I still think you need your chips re-imaged...

I have two Max chips one for the AFM and one for a MAF. If they were mixed at install, think that would cause the problem? It is only rich at WOT.
I am running the AFM and it's suppose to be the AFM chip. He took off the MAF to pass smog which it did.

You might have the wrong chip in... try swapping chips, OR the ones you have out of the car should have a code written on them, Russel Berry can tell you which one isn't installed...
