No such thing. Escort Cups are coil overs. Springs are the coils.
You can buy bilstein rear coil overs and springs separately, from anyone, but they don't work without springs.

I see no reason why they *wouldn't* work without springs (e.g. with torsion bars). A damper is a damper. If you put in heavier torsion bars so the wheel rate was the same as the Escort cup setup, the dampers (shocks) will see the same force and load.

He either needs conventional shocks, or coil overs with the proper spring rate to meet his goals/needs.
BUT...you already know that. Now stop cnfusin stuff!

In this case the spring rate is provide by the torsion bar rather than the coil spring.
Assuming the torsion bar used provides the correct range of "effective wheel spring rate", there should be zero difference.
This is a very straight forward deal.
The "sticky" part would be when you try to combine a torsion bar with a coil spring to get the the correct spring rate. But that's not the case here...

I wanted to put in 30mm torsion bars. In the original post i meant to say i wanted to keep the rear suspension a torsion bar setup but upgrade the torsion bars, not keep my original torsion bars. Sorry for the confusion
