Default PP for 930 disc?

I ordered a KEP Stage 1, but they misquoted me and then charged my card for $100 more than what they told me. They refused to give me the original price, which I think is bad business. That plus I've seen a few threads advising against the KEP + 930 disc combo caused me to cancel the order.

So now my build is bottlenecked at the PP. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for 400ish rwhp.

Do you already have the 930 disc? When I ordered my clutch stuff back in feb I was told to do a 930 disc with the stock PP (I'm only doing 300whp though), or to do a stock disc with the KEP. You could probably resell the 930 disc on here for close to the price you bought it for.

Sadly, yes I already own the 930 disc.

I'm really hoping to find an alternative to the KEP pressure plate because I sort of have a bad taste in my mouth about their company now.

What about the SPEC PP Lindsey offers? It is a bit more expensive, but seems to get decent reviews.

This maybe a dumb question by why is your pressure plate bottle necking your build... Have you tested it? I would think it could hold to 400hp

I haven't tested it but I really don't feel like doing a clutch job after I get my car back together

FYI - the KEP & 930 combo is fine. It would seem there is a problem in using those two with a Fidenza flywheel... I understand where you're coming from in getting a quote. FWIW, I paid ~$600 for my KEP stage I. Like it lots - plenty of modulation, wifey could drive it easily.

Oh, I should mention now that I have a Fidenza flywheel

Yeah it's not the price, I'd pay $600 its really just the bad business (esp being a business owner myself) that shows a serious lack of respect to their customers and a lack of integrity in their business.

Anyhow, I can't see any options at this point besides SPEC or Stock. Am I missing anything?

Looks like I'll be veering away from KEP then. I was interested in doing a 930 disk. But I intend on being somewhere between 350 to 400 wheel by the time I get done. I'm looking into options as well.

stock flywheel + KEP + 930 disc is fine

fidanza + KEP + 930 does NOT WORK.

i would lighten the stock flywheel and use a KEP + 930 disc, its a very very good combo.

FWIW, I had the Fidenza too, but then sold it when I saw people had problems with the KEP+930+Fidenza combo. To me, all you're gaining with the Fidenza is lighter weight which can be done by shaving the stock flywheel. I wanted the greater holding power that the KEP+930 would give me, so stuck with those.
