full boost at 1000rpm ?? stick a second one on . expensive but putting one on a 2.5 you may end up with something comparable to a 3.0 and there biggest one seems just right for a 2.5.
all things considered i think those aero chargers would be awesome for turbo conversions for nice little sports cars S2000 elise .e30 M3 ae86 wesfield etc

To be specific that car makes full boost by 3,000rpm. At least that's how we had the vanes set at the track to favor the most top-end power. On the street we close the vanes a bit more to make full boost around 2600-2800rpm.

I may be alone but depending how much boost your running its more important to me at what rpm you get 60% as your making decent torque at this stage . I've been in some cars where the boost gauge go''s "twang" strait to 16psi but then the car goes ok but then you feel the engine come into its good VE bit ..
I aways wonder about the trade off of exhaust gas back pressure /boost and what kind of torque your realy making ....any how when my time comes i will log all the pressure and the torque out put play with the vanes and know for sure ..

I will have slice of the envy pie ...
so is that the biggest aerocharger on a 3.3?

Yes, our 930 is running a 224/300. Here's a 997 GT3 running two of our 200/250's:

Do you have a ballpark estimate of how much power that 930 has [at the crank]? I'm very slowly planning a "968 supercar project" for the intermediate future, and I'm very strongly considering single turbocharging; this 224/300 looks like a good candidate...

No we'd want their largest one, and in fact I'd ask why don't they make a larger one? There would be a huge market for this sort of product around the world and with increased sales numbers perhaps the overall costs will come down and be reflected in cheaper products.
I wonder if they haven't made a larger one and run into some difficulties?

Talk to Ivan @ IMA Motorsport. He's the owner of that GT3 and has one of our turbos on a 968 as well.

We've been looking for a good reason to build larger turbos for some time. The reason most of our turbos are smaller is because our main market is smaller engines. For example motorcycles & snowmobiles are a large market for us as lag is non-existent with our turbos on these engines, making them a huge success. However we've been getting more and more attention in the automotive market which is making us consider larger sizing. We've even been approached by companies like Koenigsegg about building bigger turbos for one of their cars in development.

How do the Aerochargers usually mounted/supported? By the exhaust and the exhaust housing? Or is there a mounting point?

Thanks for the response. Be nice to hear from Iva about his 968. Do you know if he's published any material about it? Be it on a forum or their own website?
