Anyone running 997 GT3 wheels?
I'm thinking some 997 GT3 wheels would look awesome on my 951. I had contemplated them on my S2, but 993TT hollows took the win that time around.
The ones I'm finding for sale are 18x8 with et 50, and 18x11 with et 63. I know my 18x10's on my S2 are et 65...so should the GT3 wheels work considering they're et 63?
Also...anybody be able to photoshop the wheels onto my car for me?

The offset should be fine give or take, but I don't like the stagger. A 3" difference isn't ideal. Having said that I've heard of people getting wheels widened.

I was looking at them on a GT3 that was parked near me at a car show a couple days ago... I think the style of them would look very good on a 951. I didn't know there was a 3" difference between front and rear though. I'm no expert, but I think it will be tough to dial out the understeer with that much stagger.

Pm me the pictures - I can photoshop them...
I also recently purchased a set of 8.5 & 11 x 18" Ruf wheels with a rear offset of 60mm - test fitted them on the 951 without tires & it looked fine. Thinking that a 285 or 295 rear tire would stretch a little to provide some extra room.

Nothing against aftermarket wheels (besides the price!), but factory Porsche wheels look so much better to me. They're obviously not stock, but can fool people not in the know lol.
I have loved the GT3 wheels for a while now, and think these will be my next attempt at a wheel choice. Having a et 6X offset is nice too, considering I'm late offset and et 65 looks almost perfect on my S2 (2-3mm spacers in back would have them perfect). Therefor, et 63's should look badass. Plus...a 295 tire on an 11" rim is a good fit!
I'll get a picture up of my car here soon so you 'chop experts can go to work. I want the wheels a gun metalish color as well!
