i was disappointed to be stuck down in B group since i usually run in A, but there were so many people in A i got bumped. Ended up being ok though since my B group instructor was a 968 racer and he gave me some advise on adjusting my suspension setup. Signed me off after one session and this was later in the weekend. Guy in the SC 968 is Darth Coupe-a rennlister and an instructor w/ OVR- w/ his D group student in the car. Needless to say we gave the student a good run.

I'm doing a US track tour soon and I have to go to Mid Ohio.What fun,slow and high speed sectoins,elevation changes and off camber turns.It looks like a few 911 and V8 egos got bruised also.That adds to the fun for me.What camera are you using? NICE DRIVING and greta video too

i was just having some issues after switching to bigger, wider wheels w/ R compound tires- actually getting alot of oversteer. I dropped the swaybar down, dropped tire pressures in the rear but still ended up off the track taking out my splitter. He suggested dropping my rear coilover rebound down abit and that made the difference. The vid doesnt show how fast we were going really but we were flying. I believe there was a 1:44 in that vid somewhere... which is qualifying times for some racers.

Yes, nice going Dan. It does look like a fun track as mentioned. The only thing I could see and take this as purely observational, is that it looked like you were losing ground to the 968 by coming in a bit shallow to some corner entries and having to slow too much to make the back half of the turn. IMHO that is.
What were the new wheel & tyres you were using? If this is your first go at R spec you should have seen some big improvement, yes?

well the reason it looks like im loosing ground in the tighter corners is because his Supercharger is still kicking while my turbo is waiting to come up to full boost out of the corner. I havent gotten my trailbraking down just yet....
