Default MLS Turbo Gaskets and Downpipe Bolt Lockers

I know im being a bad person for posting this when 034Motorsport isnt a sponsor, but oh well

I found these the other day... Slightly pricey, but much better than digging lame little rings out of the damn grooves each time. The locks are stainless steel, a few taps and they bend to lock the nuts. Theyre all reusable.

A bit expensive at $20 each, and $14 for the locker things but oh well.

Look close and you can see all three parts installed.

Damn, wish i had known about those gaskets when i did my turbo. I was actually looking around for copper gaskets for that application but noone made any ready for order around Janurary. Even at $20 its a great price, the factory crush rings are like $15 a pop and one time use.

I agree and they probably are re-usable in real life.

they just don't want to say they are... then they will have 100's of customers calling customer suport when their gasket leaks after installing it for the 100000th time

Big difference in operating temperatures would be my guess. Lots of our cars see turbine temperatures in the 1600F + range and you can definitely stress relieve most stainless at that temperature versus the headgasket temperature being about 1300F cooler. Can't tell from the pics if there is the MLS ridge, but if there is then the ridge would probably be flat after any long term use.

Anyone looking for a turbo outlet to downpipe copper gasket should contact Fabspeed as they have them for their three inch downpipe.
