LOL Yeah that will make it all clear as mud. I dread the same thing on my silver car, it didn't came off the TT easy at all and I had a hoist, load leveler, and numerous floor jacks...I'm sure going back on will be even worse. At least I'll be rebuilding my TT so I always have that margin of slop to work with.

Hey, you gonna be around tommorow? Oddly enough, I've never had any issues with that part. I can give you hand for a little while and pick up those parts.

I'm just the opposite. Got the engine on the front but cannot get the trans coupler to line up. Have spent hours under the car trying to get that thing on.
It's do or die time this weekend. Damn thing.

When I did my clutch job last summer the tranny came out really easy, but getting it back in and getting that coupler lined up was a royal PITA! A friend and I spent several hours wiggling that thing to get it to go back in and then finally got it. Good luck! When you get frustrated, walk away from it for a few minutes and come back, best advice I can give you.

Loop a rope around the torque tube shaft and pull down on the rope (and subsequently the shaft) as you slide the coupler on. Typically I see the TT shaft just a shade high and needs to be pulled down to get it on.
